For the third time in as many weeks the rural county of Haverish has been hit by what philosophers are describing as a 'Localised Geographical Gravitational Disturbance', known more commonly as an Earth Float.
The disturbance was recorded as taking place at seven-fourteen A.M., local time and trapped at least three families as their land, according to a reliable source inside the Royal Aerostatical Navy, ascended to over 90,000 feet in little over a minute.
The associated tremor, detected by The Ministry's Unusual Occurance Division based in Covenant, Warwick, is believed to have caused three fatalities and at least seventeen voters were wounded.
The airbound families were quickly rescued by HMS Lord Falcon whose regular patrol route passed only a few miles away at the Haverish border. |

The RAN has declared the land off limits and has warned any unauthorised aerostat coming within a mile radius of the event will be shot down without hessitation.
Whilst Earth Floats are by no means a new occurance - a recent archeological excavation discovering pre-icesheet cave paintings of simiilar floating islands - the philosophy behind the phenomena has yet to be agreed upon by the Royal Institute and it is unlikely a quick explanation will be forthcoming.
For now we can only be thankful for so few casualties and pray the poor souls of the dead move quickly along the circle.
